A Complete Review of Scourge (multicolor)

136. Bladewing the Risen 3BBRR rare
Creature - Dragon Legend 4/4
Flying
When Bladewing the Risen comes into play, return target dragon card from your graveyard to play.
BR: All Dragons get +1/+1 until end of turn.

==> FUN: 4
The spoiler I have doesn't actually say it's a rare, but somehow I don't think it'll be a common! Bladewing is actually a bit disappointing. I'm not sure what I had hoped for, but 7 mana for a 4/4 flier isn't it. Bladewing's abilities are certainly very strong, but only in a dragon deck, otherwise it's just an expensive firebreathing ability. Although I like the idea of a dragon deck, I have little hope that it'll play well. I just can't see having an army of big fliers in play when one is usually enough to win. Still, it's a nifty card.

137. Edgewalker 1BW uncommon
Creature - Cleric 2/2
Cleric spells you play cost one less W and/or B. (This reduces colored mana costs only.)

==> FUN: 4
Interesting idea. Multicolored clerics, like Edgewalker, then cost two less mana to play. Still, cards like this are only as good as the creature type they help and clerics still aren't very good.

138. Karona, False God 1WUBRG rare
Creature - Legend 5/5
Haste
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player untaps Karona, False God and gains control of it. When Karona attacks, creatures of the type of your choice get +3/+3 until end of turn.

==> FUN: 3
Getting the right colors to cast Karona should be a fun exercise, but I don't like having to relinquish control of it every turn. Note that Karona is effectively an 8/8, because it can give the +3/+3 to legends if no other suitable creature type is available.

--
139. Sliver Overlord WUBRG rare
Creature - Sliver Mutant Legend 7/7
3: Search you library for a sliver card, reveal that card, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
3: Gain control of target sliver (this effect doesn't end at end of turn)
"The end of evolution."

==> FUN: 5
Where Sliver Queen creates extra slivers to benefit from the shared abilities, Sliver Overlord creates extra abilities for your slivers. If you want to pump up your army, get a few Muscle Slivers. If you want them to fly, a Winged Sliver will do the trick. The last ability just gives you the edge in the mirror match. As if having a 7/7 with various abilities in play wasn't enough of an edge.

Onslaught

Onslaught continues the story of Kamahl, who struggles to cope with what it means to be a druid. At the same time, he has to help his sister, Jeska, who has been transformed into Phage, a being that can kill with a mere touch. At the same time Ixidor, an illusionist with the ability to shape reality is out to kill Phage for killing his one true love. Who will find her first?
