I took my niece and nephew to the local park a few weeks ago to test-run the Sky Clipper, both for ease of handling and the fun quotient. Both of them loved the crayon colors of what they called "the pirate ship" and got so excited my niece nearly fell in the lake. It's sturdily constructed with a solid fiberglass airframe, 43D ripstop nylon sail and a nylon taffeta hull. It's super lightweight and will fly in winds as light as 6 mph. Getting it up in the air was quite simple, for the kids and for me. (Once I got it aloft, it was smooth sailing--my one regret was that I hadn't brought along two more.) The Sky Clipper comes in a 4-color gift box. Measures: 34" x 34"
