When the U.S. Marine Corps and military police needed a tactical mountain bike that could withstand all the rigors of military reconnaissance, parachuting and other extreme conditions, this is the one they chose. A patented seat tube folding system preserves the structural integrity and inherent strength of traditional bicycle geometry. Unlike all other folding bikes, there are no wobbly hinges and no structural tubes cut in half. Just open one quick release lever and remove the front wheel; a safety lock prevents the frame from folding even with the quick release not tightened. In cammy green, the bike also has Marine spec pedals and compass, 1.95" front- and rear-specific knobby tires, alloy V-brakes and a 24-speed Shimano drive train.
